Škoda Auto a.s. – Migration to Active Directory a MS Exchange 2003

Our consultants in cooperation with (Microsoft Consulting Services) provided the change over from Windows NT 4.0 domain to Windows 2003 Active Directory including connection to AD forest of Volkswagen concern. One part of the project was also the change over of approx. 10 000 mail boxes from Exchange 5.5 to Exchange 2003 servers running in cluster. The project included the creation of migration procedures, testing in laboratory environment as well as direct change over in production environment.

E.ON Česká republika, s. r. o. – Environment consolidation of Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange 2007 SP1 and many others

In the frame of the wide scope of this project a complex consolidation of IT environment was carried out. For historical reasons, caused by change of owners of each company, it was split into several parts. Firstly, we did a harmonization of Microsoft Active Directory environment, which consisted of migration of thousands different types of objects (groups, users, computers, profiles, etc.) into one final domain. Then, we created a highly accessable solution for email communication on the Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 SP1 platform, followed by migration of all mailboxes into the new infrastructure. Part of the project was also to create integrated file and print servers (secured by Windows Failover Cluster), unified access of all users to internet (field Microsoft ISA Server 2006) and many others.

AVG Technologies CZ, s.r.o. – Implementation of MS Exchange 2007 and migration from Lotus Notes

Company AVG made a decision to modernize their email message system and internal communication by changing from so far used Lotus Notes to a new solution based on Microsoft Exchange 2007 technology. Our experts participated on all the following project phases: introduction design, MS Exchange 2007 implementation including Single Copy Cluster, post-implementation support, training. Part of the project was also a migration of hundreds of mailboxes from Lotus Notes to the new solution.

Oriflame a.s. – Migration to Active Directory and MS Exchange 2003

In the frame of this project has been transferred several tens of Windows NT 4.0 and domains of Oriflame´s worldwide network into one Active Directory forest. At the same time of migration domain the mail system MS Exchange 5.5 to Exchange 2003 has been migrated. We have contributed to the solution proposal, migration processes and operative problem solutions, which appeared during the migration.

Company DHL developed a new data centre in 2004, which serves for service hosting for all the Europe, Africa and Far East. In the frame of the mail service consolidation project our consultants worked on the migration of mail boxes from more than 33 countries (!) to Microsoft Exchange 2003. In the next phase the full migration of these countries to Active Directory was also handled. It was not only purely technical work but also on manager and communication level.
